Statement On FCC Vote To Open 6 GHz Band To Unlicensed Use

Washington DC — Internet Association Director, Federal Government Affairs Amy Murphy issued the following statement on the Federal Communications Committee (FCC) vote in support of opening the 6 GHz band to unlicensed use:

“The internet industry commends the FCC for increasing access to unlicensed spectrum with this vote. This additional spectrum will create new opportunities for future innovation and foster more broadband access.”
