Statement On Texas House Resolution 538

Washington, DC – Internet Association’s President and CEO K. Dane Snowden comments on the passing of Texas House Resolution 538 during AAPI Heritage Month with the following statement:

“IA applauds the passage of Texas House Resolution 538, which condemns anti-AAPI violence while also recognizing the substantial contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Texas and across America. We commend the House for its work towards real solutions and justice. The diversity of the AAPI community brings a rich variety of knowledge, talent, culture, and ideas, and the internet industry continues to stand in solidarity with those who are impacted by these senseless crimes.”
