Statement on the Reintroduction of the Kids PRIVCY Act

Washington, DC – Today, K. Dane Snowden, President and CEO of Internet Association, released the following statement on the reintroduction of the Kids PRIVCY Act:

“Keeping kids safe online is of the utmost importance to the internet industry. Internet companies provide safety and privacy controls for parents and young teens that give them control over who can see and interact with kids’ accounts. Our companies continue to grow partnerships with organizations to help parents and kids navigate safety features as well as provide insights as new products are developed. The internet industry strongly supports safety in development, deployment, and daily use.”
