Statement On The Senate Requesting A Vote On The Save The Internet Act

Washington, DC – Michael Bloom, Internet Association Senior Vice President, Global Government Affairs, issued the following statement on the Senate requesting a vote on the Save The Internet Act (STIA):

“The internet industry supports STIA because Americans deserve access to the entire internet, free of blocking, throttling, and paid prioritization by ISPs. The STIA would restore brightline, enforceable rules that enjoy broad support from Americans across the country. IA will continue to fight for the free and open internet through the courts as an intervenor in Mozilla v FCC and would also support bipartisan Congressional efforts that achieve the same goal.”
