The Internet Association is giving away books by Internet activist and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Without Their Permission: How the 21st Century Will Be Made, Not Managed, was released October 1, 2013 and ranked 4th on the Wall Street Journal’s best sellers list for Hardcover Business. Ohanian has spoken out against Congress’s Stop Online Piracy Act and the Senate’s Protect IP Act. He aided in the Internet-enabled grassroots campaign that eventually overturned the two bills. After being named number one on The Daily Dot’s top ten most influential activists of 2012, Ohanian was dubbed “Mayor of the Internet” by Forbes.
